||DECEMBER 8, 2010||||JOB 32:8||"But it is the spirit in a person, the breathing from Shaddai, that gives him/her understands."
In this verse, we see the word Shaddai which mean's ALMIGHTY. El Shaddai means God Almighty and is the name of our Community. In this verse, it is talking about when a man, or a woman has the Spirit of God in them, God Almighty, they are gifted with Understanding.
How do we have the Spirit of God? Well, you have to be a Christian and know that Jesus Christ is God's Son and Two, you not only have to Pray, but you have to listen. Listening is very important to being a christian. You can not just talk, talk, and talk and then tell God to tell you what to do if you are not prepared to listen. God knows that we may not get it quickly, but he is willing to help if you take the time to listen and watch what he is doing in your life and the life of others.
It is important to watch everything also, to learn from other, their mistakes and then ask God how to fix mistakes and wait for him to tell you. God is not going to leave you hanging, he is going to help you as much as you can. Lean not on your own understand, but on God's Understand.

In this verse, we see David, the small Sheppard boy running out to meet the biggest man they had ever seen, Goliath of Gath. That is how we should treat all of our giants, running head long into them, not away from them.

"Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path."
In this verse, it shows us how important the word of God is. A Lamp that will guide our own Feet and a Light that will shine upon our Path. God is showing us the way through his words, we just have to pick up his word and pray for Guidance.

The great thing is that David was just a young boy there who trusted God and when he went to face his giant he had God with him. David only needed to pick up one small stone because victory was already won - when we have God on our side he never fails..... I love the promise of where our Lord says "I will never leave you or forsake you". All David had to do was trust in God because that stone was guaranteed not to miss. |

The Lamp is Jesus..... Like the famous song goes "Shine Jesus Shine". Don't know about you guys but Iam so glad that I have Jesus lighting up our path in my life. |
