||DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHO EL SHADDAI IS?||
El Shaddai (Hebrew: אל שדי) is one of the Judaic names of God. El Shaddai is translated as God Almighty.
Well, I am sure you want more then that and I am perfectly fine by telling you as much as I know about. A name that had great meaning and a true name of God. God has many names, some that it would take years to understand, but this one is simple and to the point. El Shaddai... God Almighty! The true power of God is great and everlasting... Almighty!
His name, this one, is mentioned in the Bible Countless times, but we never pay attention, we just think it is another phrase of words, so I will point a few of them out.
When Abram was 99 years old ADONAI appeared to Abram and said to him, "I am God Almighty(El Shaddai). Walk in my presence and be pure-hearted."
Genesis 17:1
God said to him, "Your name is Jacob, but you will be called Jacob no longer; your name will be Isra'el." Thus he named him Isra'el. God further said to him,"I am God Almighty(El Shaddai). Be fruitful and multiply. A nation, indeed a group of nations, will come from you; kings will be descending from you."
Genesis 35:10-11
..."I am ADONAI. I appeared to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as God Almighty(El Shaddai), although I did not make myself known to them by my name, Yud-Heh-Vav-Heh(ADONAI)."
Exodus 6:2-3
"... the speech of him who hears God's words,
who sees what Almighty(Shaddai) sees,
who has fallen, yet has open eyes."
Numbers 24:4
"But it is the spirit in a person, the breath from Almighty(Shaddai), that gives him understanding."
Job 32:8
So you can see that his name is mention and it is continued on from there more and more. God's names are everywhere and I promise you, there are so many more and it is awesome to learn.
